Investigating trophic interactions with molecular techniques
Welcome to the Casey Lab!
Located at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, we apply a molecular approach to measuring marine biodiversity and tracing trophic interactions. We elucidate cryptic trophic pathways, examine fine-scale niche partitioning, and investigate the resilience of food webs under global change. While most of our work is based on tropical coral reefs, we are implementing new research programs based in the Texas Coastal Bend. Learn more on our Research page. |
